The East Bay Cisco Users Group is a non profit, independent group of enthusiasts and skilled professionals that meets monthly for the open exchange of technical information regarding the networking industry providing an opportunity among peers and members to become more educated, informed, and certified on Cisco technologies and solutions.

  • Our Regular Monthly Meetings are back at Cisco's offices in Pleasanton! This is where the group began in 2002. See the meetings page for location details. WE NOW MEET ON THE SECOND THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH.
  • EBCUG is partnering with EBIG (www.ebig.org) and will host the Communications and Wireless Technology Special Interest Group (SIG). We welcome EBIG attendees!

Meetings

We have monthly meetings on the first Thursday of each month starting at 6:30 with light food and soft drinks. The general meeting begins at 6:30 with official commencement of speakers and topics. There are several speakers that are invited to speak on topics that are chosen by the members. You will often find speakers from Bay Area IT Pro's, CCIE's, Cisco Systems Engineers, and Product Managers. Cisco Partner companies and other companies with networking and management products are invited to speak also.

If you are interested in speaking or presenting at the event in a strictly technical nature, please see the contacts page and get in touch with the event coordinator. We are interested in hearing from Cisco Users on thier experiences and deployments of data, voice, video, routing, vpn, security, intrusion detection, netwokr monitoring or telephony solutions.
